Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Moline, Illinois, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and maintain pet safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, sales opportunities, and store operations support in a fun, pet-filled atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and vet transport if needed.
• Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
• Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards across the store.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Thrive under pressure, lift 50+ lbs, handle live animals, and work in dynamic environments with moderate noise and pet hair. Physical demands include standing, climbing, stooping, and team lifting over 100 lbs.
