Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Moncton, New Brunswick, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, provide positive experiences, and uphold PetSmart's vision. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and direct pet care in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet and answer questions.
• Prepare online orders and ensure smooth pick-up.
• Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish); administer vet-directed medications.
• Maintain cleanliness, support price changes, stock products, face/fill/recover merchandise.
• Recommend/sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.

Experience & Skills

Entry-level role requiring strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands: stand/walk/climb, lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair.
