Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Monroeville PA you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences care for live animals and maintain a pristine store. This entry-level role offers flexibility across sales services and pet care blending customer interaction with hands-on animal responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings questions sales and seamless online order fulfillment.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed water clean habitats and administer vet-directed medications.
- Execute merchandising: face fill recover products handle price changes and stage new inventory.
- Promote events adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives while recommending merchandise services.
- Uphold safety standards respond to pet health issues and maintain total store cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet enthusiasts thrive. Must have strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs+ climbing ladders and working amid pets noise and wet areas. Depth perception and team lifting for 100lbs+ needed.
