Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Monument Colorado you'll engage pet parents and pets delivering positive experiences. Uphold PetSmart's vision while maintaining store cleanliness pet safety and direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility across store areas with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person phone register and online order fulfillment
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding watering cleaning habitats and vet-directed medications
- Execute merchandising: face fill recover products price changes and sales floor planning
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment
- Maintain safety standards respond to pet health issues and ensure clean safe store environment
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet lovers thrive here. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays and composure under pressure. Physically demanding: lift 50lbs+ climb ladders handle animals in moderate-noise wet pet-hair environments. Depth perception and team lifting essential.
