Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision of pet safety and store excellence. Share in maintaining cleanliness, pet care, and sales while working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medications per vet direction.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet health issues immediately.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to boost sales and loyalty.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. No prior experience required—passion for pets is key.
