Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive positive pet parent experiences in our Nashville, TN store. You'll handle sales, pet care, store maintenance, and safety, embodying our vision of exceptional service in a fun, pet-filled atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding in-person, phone, register, and online customer service.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety, and respond to pet health issues promptly.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet enthusiasts. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
