Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, ensure store cleanliness, and provide direct care for in-store pets. This entry-level role offers flexibility across sales floor, services, and pet care, with opportunities to advance in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in-person, phone, register, and online order fulfillment.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets by transporting to vet as needed.
- Support store operations including merchandising and recovery to uphold visual standards.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – we provide training! Ideal candidates have strong communication, composure under pressure, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays.
