Role Overview
As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Niagara Falls, Ontario, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, development, and the joy of working with pets daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals; administer vet-directed medications.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and standards; respond to sick pets and transport to vet as needed.
- Merchandise products, execute price changes, recommend sales, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Assist across departments, follow policies, and contribute to team culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, offer scheduling flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), and meet physical demands: lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, handling animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
