Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive exceptional pet parent experiences in our North Augusta, SC store. You'll handle sales, pet care, store operations, and safety, ensuring every visit is paws-itively perfect. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this dynamic retail role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish), administer meds, and respond to health issues.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Sell merchandise, services, and live pets while ensuring a safe environment for all.
- Assist across departments and follow company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is a plus! We seek strong communicators who stay composed under pressure, can lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a fast-paced setting with moderate noise and pet hair.
