Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, from greeting customers to caring for live animals. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, sales opportunities, and store operations support in a dynamic retail setting. Flexibility and pet passion are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding in-person, phone, register, and online customer service.
- Provide daily care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats, and vet-directed medications.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, and implement pricing updates.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet enthusiasm is a plus! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced environments, handle pressure calmly, and are available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing, and exposure to animals and moderate noise.
