Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Northridge, California, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person, phone, register, and online order fulfillment.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and health monitoring.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Promote events, recommend merchandise/services, and ensure safety for pets, associates, and customers.
- Assist across store areas, including services, while upholding cleanliness and company standards.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a lively setting with moderate noise and pet hair.
