Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Oldsmar, Florida, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and drive sales while upholding our vision of exceptional pet experiences. This entry-level role offers dynamic responsibilities in a fun, pet-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet, answer questions, prepare pickups.
- Provide direct pet care: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds.
- Maintain store cleanliness, execute price changes, stock and recover merchandise per sales floor standards.
- Sell products, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; handle sick pets and transport to vet as needed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level welcome! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physically demanding: lift 50lbs+, climb, stoop; exposed to pets, noise, wet areas. Passion for pets a plus.
