Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Ontario, California store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, and maintain store standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, sales, and teamwork in a fun, pet-filled atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers, and respond to pet health issues.
• Support all store areas, including services, as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle pressure calmly, and are flexible with evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing, and working with live animals in a moderate-noise environment.
