Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Orillia, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care responsibilities in a dynamic retail environment with live animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, handle price changes.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety, respond to sick pets, assist across store including services.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands: lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+), stand/walk, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. No prior experience required—passion for pets is key.
