Role Overview
As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Oshawa, Ontario, you'll be the friendly face for pet parents, delivering outstanding service while caring for store pets. Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, online, and pickup interactions.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals, including feeding, cleaning, and vet transport.
- Merchandise products, maintain cleanliness, and execute pricing/promotions.
- Sell merchandise, services, and live pets while promoting events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; assist across grooming/services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle 50+ lb lifts, climb ladders, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends. Physical demands include standing, stooping, and exposure to pets/noise; reasonable accommodations available.
