Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Oshawa store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, and uphold our vision for pet care. Share in store maintenance, cleanliness, and direct pet care while supporting sales across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online pickups.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety standards, respond to pet health issues, and assist across store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), stand, climb, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
