Role Overview
As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Owen Sound, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards in a fun pet-loving atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards; respond immediately to sick or injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets while supporting all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
