Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Phoenix, AZ, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver outstanding service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and daily joy in a pet-loving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
• Execute merchandising: stock products, face shelves, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and respond to pet health issues by transporting to vets as needed.
• Collaborate across store areas, including services, while upholding company policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
