Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order fulfillment, and register support.
- Manage pet health: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds; respond to illnesses.
- Uphold cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Recommend merchandise, services, and pets; ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers.
- Flex across store areas including services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
