Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll deliver outstanding customer service, care for live pets, and keep our store spotless. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet interaction, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide daily care for store pets: feeding, watering, habitat cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Maintain merchandising standards: facing, filling, recovering products, and promotional setups.
- Promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment while ensuring safety for pets, associates, and customers.
- Handle sick/injured pets promptly and assist across store areas as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced environments, handle 50+ lb lifts, climb ladders, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
