Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction and customer service in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats, administer meds as directed.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events, recommend products/services/pets, ensure safety standards.
- Handle sick/injured pets, maintain cleanliness, assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Must have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs, standing/walking, handling animals in moderate noise/wet environments.
