Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards for animal lovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets while supporting all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek pet enthusiasts with strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs in a pet-filled environment.
