As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Richmond, VA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and daily joy in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and vet transport if needed.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sales floor readiness while recommending products/services.
- Collaborate across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Ideal candidates have strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling animals).
