As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Richmond, VA, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Feed, water, clean habitats, and medicate store-owned pets (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals).
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays). Must lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a dynamic retail setting with moderate noise and pet hair.
