Role Overview
As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Richmond Hill, Ontario, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals; administer meds as directed.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and pet welfare; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to boost sales and satisfaction.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
