Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Rochester, MN store, you'll deliver exceptional pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and sales of merchandise, services, and live pets.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats—including feeding, cleaning, watering, and vet-directed medications.
- Execute store operations: merchandising, pricing updates, product recovery, cleanliness, and event promotion like adoption weekends.
- Prioritize safety by monitoring pets, transporting sick/injured animals to vets, and maintaining secure environments.
- Collaborate across departments, follow policies, and contribute to our recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key!
