Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Roswell store, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for live animals. This entry-level role combines customer service, pet care, and store operations in a dynamic retail environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and vet transport if needed.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Promote products, services, live pets, and events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety standards for associates, pets, and customers while upholding store cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, handle physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing), and embrace animal exposure. Ideal candidates are flexible, team-oriented, and committed to PetSmart's mission.
