Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Saint Charles, Missouri, you'll deliver outstanding customer experiences, care for live pets, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards for pet lovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent service in-person, phone, register, and online order fulfillment.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer vet-directed meds.
- Drive sales by recommending products, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and uphold cleanliness/safety standards.
- Respond to pet health issues, transport to vet if needed, and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physically demanding: lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. Depth perception and team lifting essential.
