Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) you'll engage pet parents provide top-tier pet care and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet retail with opportunities to advance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive positive pet parent interactions handling sales register online orders and inquiries
- Manage pet health: feed water clean habitats for birds reptiles fish small animals and administer vet-directed meds
- Keep store spotless: face stock recover products execute price changes and planograms
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment
- Prioritize safety: monitor pets respond to illnesses transport to vet ensure secure environment
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop handle animals in noisy/wet conditions).
