Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in San Antonio, Texas, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care while working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, handle price changes.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety, respond to sick pets, assist in all store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—entry-level welcome! Need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Passion for pets and flexibility are key.
