As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in San Antonio, TX, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards for animal lovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet transport.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle pets in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
