Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Savannah, Georgia, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and a fun environment surrounded by animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Handle online order pickups, recommend products/services, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, execute price changes, and ensure a safe environment.
- Respond to pet health issues and assist across store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include standing, stooping, and exposure to pets, noise, and wet areas. Reasonable accommodations available.
