Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates in Sierra Vista, AZ, deliver exceptional pet parent experiences, maintain store standards, and provide direct care for live pets. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and a fun, pet-filled workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Manage pet health: feed, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer meds, and transport sick pets to vets.
- Keep store spotless, stock shelves, face products, and handle pricing/promotions.
- Promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment; recommend products/services.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers while assisting across departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
