Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Skokie IL you'll engage pet parents provide positive experiences and care for store pets. Uphold our vision while maintaining cleanliness safety and sales standards. Flexibility for evenings weekends and holidays required.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand walk climb ladders lift 50lbs+ (team lift 100lbs+) stoop kneel and handle animals. Exposed to pet hair wet areas moderate-high noise and mechanical parts. Depth perception essential; accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings order prep and sales. Maintain pet habitats (birds reptiles fish small animals) feed water clean and medicate as vet-directed. Stock recover products execute pricing promote events and ensure safety taking action on sick pets.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience needed but pet passion helps. Excel in communication composure under pressure and physical tasks. Thrive in fast-paced retail with live animals.
