As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Smyrna Tennessee you'll engage pet parents provide top-tier pet care and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers dynamic responsibilities blending customer service animal care and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive positive pet parent interactions handling sales register online orders and inquiries
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed water clean habitats and administer vet-directed meds
- Execute merchandising tasks: stock shelves face products manage price changes and recover sales floor
- Promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives
- Ensure safety cleanliness and immediate response to pet health issues including vet transport
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet lovers thrive here. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays and composure under pressure. Physically demanding: lift 50lbs+ climb ladders work in noisy pet-filled environments. Vision depth perception essential.
