Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Springfield PA you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean safe environment. This entry-level role supports sales services and pet health with flexibility for evenings weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person online phone and at register; greet answer questions prepare pickups
- Provide direct pet care: feed water clean habitats (fish birds reptiles small animals) administer vet-directed meds
- Merchandise store: face fill recover products stage new items handle price changes promotions
- Promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment charity drives; recommend sell merchandise services live pets
- Ensure safety: maintain cleanliness monitor pet health transport sick pets respond to issues promptly
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication composure under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop work in noisy pet-filled spaces). Flexibility essential.
