Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role supports sales, services, and pet health, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
• Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets—including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
• Execute merchandising tasks: stock products, face shelves, recover floors, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
• Maintain safety standards, respond immediately to sick/injured pets, and assist across all store areas.
• Uphold cleanliness and follow company policies for a welcoming space.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who stay composed under pressure, handle physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing), and thrive in a lively environment with animals, noise, and pet hair. Flexibility and teamwork are essential.
