Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Sudbury store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision of exceptional pet care. Share in store maintenance, cleanliness, and direct pet care while supporting sales and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions including online order fulfillment.
• Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administering vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store standards by facing/filling products, staging merchandise, executing price changes, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Sell merchandise, services, and live pets; promote events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet health issues and transport to vet as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet areas is common.
