Role Overview
As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in our Surrey, BC store, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets. This entry-level role supports store operations, sales, and pet safety in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to pet parents in-person, phone, register, and online pickups.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats, and administering vet-directed medications.
- Ensure store cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, and handle price changes.
- Recommend merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions.
- Respond to pet emergencies, ensure safety, and assist across departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
