Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Tarentum PA you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean safe store. This entry-level role supports sales services and pet health upholding PetSmart's vision of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings questions online order prep and register service.
- Provide direct pet care: feed water clean habitats for birds reptiles fish small animals and administer vet-directed meds.
- Stock face and recover merchandise execute price changes and promote events like adoptions and Treats.
- Maintain cleanliness safety standards and respond immediately to sick/injured pets including vet transport.
- Flexibly assist across store areas including services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication composure under pressure and schedule flexibility. Physically demanding: stand lift 50lbs+ climb kneel work amid pet hair noise and live animals. Depth perception essential.
