Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Toronto, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards in a fun pet-loving atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet health issues promptly.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! You need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
