Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, ensure store cleanliness, and provide direct care for in-store pets. This entry-level role offers flexibility across sales floor, pet care, and services, with opportunities to grow within our dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in-person, phone, register, and online order fulfillment.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets by transporting to vet as needed.
- Assist in various store areas while upholding company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – we train you! Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment.
