Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Windsor, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, development, and rewards in a fun pet-loving atmosphere. Stand, lift up to 50 lbs, handle animals, and thrive in a dynamic retail setting with moderate noise and pet hair.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer vet-directed meds, and transport sick pets.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Recommend merchandise, services, and live pets while ensuring safety for associates, pets, and customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist in services as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Bring strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina for standing, lifting, climbing, and animal handling. Depth perception and teamwork essential in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment.
