Role Overview

Our full-time Pet Associates drive positive pet parent experiences, maintain store standards, and provide direct care for in-store pets. This entry-level role offers flexibility across sales floor, pet care, and services, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service in-person, phone, register, and online order fulfillment.
• Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and maintain cleanliness/safety standards.
• Recommend products, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Respond to pet health issues, ensure safe environments, and assist store-wide as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a fast-paced setting with moderate noise and pet hair exposure.
