Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Albertville, Alabama, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats, medications as directed.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events/adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and handle sick pets promptly.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to drive sales.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling animals). Passion for pets is key.
