Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a daily impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), administer vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote sales, events like adoptions and Treats enrollment, ensuring pet safety.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist in services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, composure under pressure, and love for pets. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing, and exposure to animals/noise.
