Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in American Fork, Utah, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, evenings/weekends/holidays, and hands-on pet interaction while driving sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), administer vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote merchandise/services/events.
- Maintain store cleanliness/safety standards and respond to sick/injured pets.
- Support all store areas as needed, following company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for variable shifts, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Passion for pets is a plus!
