Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Anchorage AK you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean safe store. This entry-level role supports sales services and pet health with flexibility for evenings weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person phone register and online order pickups
- Provide hands-on care for birds reptiles fish small animals including feeding cleaning and vet-directed meds
- Stock shelves face products execute price changes and recover sales floor
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers responding swiftly to health issues
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet lovers thrive here. Need strong communication flexibility under pressure and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+ climb ladders and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and tolerance for noise pet hair essential.
