Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Asheboro NC you'll engage pet parents and pets delivering positive experiences while upholding our vision. Share store maintenance pet safety and direct animal care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person phone register and online order fulfillment
- Provide hands-on care for store pets including feeding cleaning habitats and vet-directed medications
- Stock merchandise execute price changes and maintain sales floor standards
- Sell products services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers responding swiftly to health issues
Physical Demands
Stand walk lift 50lbs team lift 100lbs climb ladders work in pet hair-filled moderate-to-high noise environments with live animals.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina. Pet passion a plus no prior experience needed.
