Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates (Pet Associates) deliver outstanding pet parent experiences uphold store standards and provide direct care for in-store pets. Based in Baton Rouge Louisiana this entry-level role offers flexibility perfect for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings questions sales register support and online order fulfillment
- Maintain pet health by feeding watering cleaning habitats (fish birds reptiles small animals) and administering vet-directed meds
- Ensure store excellence via cleaning merchandising price changes product recovery and safety protocols
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment
- Respond swiftly to pet health issues transport to vet as needed and assist across all store areas
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion is a must! Successful candidates excel in communication thrive in fast-paced settings and handle physical demands like lifting 50lbs climbing and animal exposure. Flexibility for evenings weekends holidays essential.
